Traffic cones are the most popular pieces of road equipment, most often red warning cones with white and reflective stripes.

They are used in road traffic to mark potentially dangerous areas or to warn all road users of a possible obstacle on the road. They guide travel, protect roadworks, and alert drivers and pedestrians to restricted areas.

Traffic cones have universal applications:
– in parking lots, as a means of marking vehicle spaces or an occupied parking space
– during events, rallies, mass gatherings, etc.
– during driving lessons on a training ground

The use of cones on roads is regulated by law and is marked U-23.

U-23a cones – 1000 mm high, base width 500 x 500 mm, and a lane width of 200 mm,
U-23b cones – 750 mm high, base width 400 x 400 mm, and a lane width of 150 mm,
U-23c cones – 500 mm high, base width 300 x 300 mm, and a lane width of 100 mm.
Please also remember that a traffic cone is a road sign, which requires permission to place it on the road.
