There are two basic types of road light arrows – ϕ100 and ϕ200 lamp arrows. The former are used primarily on U26c closure boards. ϕ200 lamp arrows are used on driveways maintaining road traffic, patrols, and service areas. These types of light arrows are also used on sand spreaders and salt spreaders. They are most often mounted on the side of a vehicle or on a separate structure. Depending on the type, road light arrows are mounted on profiles, pipes, or barriers. They provide road users with a clear warning signal that roadworks are underway. Information about changes in traffic flow is important for maintaining safety in the designated area. The pulsating light of ϕ100 or ϕ200 lamp arrows increases visibility even from a distance.

Differences and Similarities Between ϕ100 and ϕ200 Light Arrows

ϕ100 light arrows are available in various types: L12, L22, L24, L8, and L15. The ϕ200 light arrows also include subcategories such as L8, L9, L13, L15, L22, and L25. Depending on the situation and the needs of the road crews, the appropriate type of light arrow is selected. All arrows feature LED lamps, a yellow flashing light, and a 12V/24V power supply. Some types of light arrows have a simpler design, such as the L8 or L9 type, while others are more complex, such as the L13 or L15 type. The shafts of the ϕ100 and ϕ200 lamps are mounted on a hot-dip galvanized steel structure.
