DESCRIPTION
The REXLEXITE® VC104+ CURTAIN GRADE SEGMENTED self-adhesive reflective tape is a durable, resistant to changing weather conditions, as well as to corrosion agents and solvents, material designed for contour marking of trucks and semi-trailers with tarpaulins (especially tarpaulin). REXLEXITE® VC104+ CURTAIN GRADE SEGMENTED is a combination of a polymer film (weather-resistant and equipped with a UV filter), microprismatic elements (microprisms) reflecting light and vacuum-vaporized aluminium. The tape is divided into segments measuring 50 x 50.2 mm, which are connected by a transfer film that keeps the fragments in place and facilitates application. Thanks to the unique production technology, REXLEXITE® VC104+ CURTAIN GRADE SEGMENTED is a single-layer material that does not require additional edge protection. The REXLEXITE® VC104+ CURTAIN GRADE SEGMENTED tape is homologated according to the European standard ECE104 in the reflectivity class C.
COLOUR
The REXLEXITE® VC104+ CURTAIN GRADE SEGMENTED is available in white, yellow and red. The colours of the tape comply with the regulations of the European standard ECE104, with measurements made in accordance with the CIE publication no. 15 (using a standard D65 illuminator and an angle of 45º, the value is measured with an average of 8 readings). The color at night (the so-called reflection color) is within the ranges compliant with the CIE standard (illumination A, viewing angle 20º and entry angle ß1 = +/-5º, ß2=0º). The requirements for day and night colour are set out in Table 1 and Table 2, respectively.
When using REXLEXITE® VC104+ CURTAIN GRADE SEGMENTED tape, make sure that the colors used comply with national regulations in this area. In Poland, according to the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure (Journal of Laws of 2009 No. 75, item 639), it is allowed to use yellow and white contour tape.
